As a small business curating and selling artwork, we also promote other talented artists' work. We aspire to provide a platform to artists from diverse backgrounds to showcase their unique perspectives through their art and sell to businesses and individuals. Through the spaces we create, emotions we evoke, and visuals we curate, we aspire to inspire others to take action, make a difference, and join us in our mission to create positive change for the planet and the people who call it home.
Businesses:
We provide full-service curation-to-installation services. Our offerings include initial consultation, curation, design, delivery, installation, and even rotation! All artwork is custom created and uniquely curated for each client.
Environment:
We aspire to create impactful images that tell a story, evoke emotions, capture the beauty of our natural world, and bring joy. Through our photography, we aim to raise awareness of environmental issues and inspire people to take action to protect our planet. We also provide special pricing to companies with sustainability or environmental stewardship goals.
Children:
In addition to our focus on the environment, we are committed to supporting organizations that assist children in need. We believe that every child deserves a chance to thrive, and we are dedicated to using our photography to raise awareness and resources for organizations that help children in need. A portion of our profits is donated to children's charities like Save the Children, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Pratham Foundation, etc.
Women-owned and upcoming artists:
We aspire to elevate women and new artists by showcasing their unique stories and artwork. We believe that everyone deserves a platform to share their perspective, and we are committed to providing a space for underrepresented voices in the photography industry.
We are passionate about capturing the essence of each artist's vision and showcasing their talent through our lens. Our goal is to create a community where artists can come together, collaborate, and inspire one another.
Through our photography, we want to showcase the beauty and complexity of different cultures and the people behind them. We believe this unique perspective will tell a compelling, completely human story by capturing a moment in time and evoking emotions that transcend periods and culture.
Vanita Rao is the photographer, curator, and founder of Saiyyam Arts, a woman-owned small business based in the Washington, D.C. metro area. She started Saiyyam Arts in 2020 with a simple but powerful belief: the spaces where we work shape how we think, feel, and perform. Since then, she has been helping businesses and organizations transform their environments through intentional, custom fine art photography - from consultation and curation all the way through to installation. Every artwork is thoughtfully composed in the field, minimally edited to preserve authenticity, and made to order using sustainably sourced materials. She has placed artwork with organizations and collectors across many cities, notably Washington D.C., New York City, San Francisco, and Melbourne, Australia. Before founding Saiyyam Arts, she spent over a decade in external & internal audit and risk management at KPMG and RSM, and brings the same precision, accountability, and project discipline to every creative engagement.
